Why I call myself KPI-Agent?

Some colleagues told me: You know so much about web-controlling, why don´t you collect these informations and share it with others? Good question. My first reaction: “I have no time for that”. My second: “Who would be interested in such knowledge”.

After some more discussions, I have to admit, that there is no source out there, that collects the basics, gives away “valuable hints” and shows how to use it for daily work.

But why is that so? Because each companys needs are different. One sells stuff, another just wants to promote their services and the next one has to life from the articles/news she writes. Therefore, each one has to look at their numbers from a different angle.

My goal with this website is

  • show what standard and special tools are out there
  • how to implement them in your website
  • how to gather informations, maybe from different sources
  • get reports out of that data, that suits your needs
  • define KPI´s (key performance indicators) to see when the wind turns
  • and give advice to improve your situation
  • and personally: improve my english, since grammar is not my excellence
